The York family of automotive dealerships first met Jason Pauley, owner of Indy Car Wash Equipment, when they purchased an auto dealership in Crawfordsville, IN next door to Jason’s car wash.
The business neighbors’ common interest in clean vehicles soon spawned a conversation about York’s Chevrolet dealership in Greencastle, IN. Their dealership was washing cars by hand, but looking for a better, more efficient method to supply their customers with clean cars. Jason suggested the IQ Soft Touch In Bay Automatic System because of its industry leading 3-D vehicle profiling technology and resulting savings in water, energy, and consumables.
A new drive-in back-out bay at York’s dealership was built to IQ specs, and the actual equipment install took less than a week.
The IQ Soft Touch has been operational for a month, and York’s dealership has had no down time. Daily car washing totals also are up 25%, utilizing far less manual labor to provide the high quality clean that York’s customers deserve and expect.
